Impactful Conversations: Recap of the Community Conversations Events
In February, March, and April of 2026, the Protect MedicaidNOW Network partners hosted a series of “Community Conversations” in their respective regions to elevate the voices of those who rely on Medicaid. With over 100 attendees across all sessions —including key state and city officials—the energy was high, and the stories were powerful.
Participants shared their personal journeys, which are now being compiled into a dedicated Protect Medicaid Now book. This book will be distributed directly to members of the General Assembly and state directors to ensure that real human impact is at the center of the Medicaid advocacy conversation.
